Qualifications:
  • Must be 23 years or older - This is required by our insurance carrier.
  • A minimum of 2 years CDL truck driving experience, and able to pass a road test.
  • Applicant must be able to safely lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Hold a minimum of a 1-year medical certificate.
  • Hold a clean driving record.
  • Experienced and physically able to operate hand trucks, manual pallet jacks, and forklifts.
  • Must be customer service minded and professional.

Linehaul Driver Duties And Responsibilities
  • Arrive at the terminal on time and ready to work.
  • Pre-Trip Inspect all equipment.

  • Keep the vehicle organized, clean and tidy.
  • Maintain truck to ensure it remains in good driving condition.
  • Observe and report equipment or mechanical failures.
  • Serve as a brand advocate and ambassador in every interaction with clients and the public. Customer service is a large part of the driver's responsibilities.
  • Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle at the end of the trip and report any problems or damage to management.
  • Comply with all DOT and in-house regulations and rules.
Home Terminal:

Equipment:

We operate a fleet of Kenworth and Freightliner Tractors. The majority of our equipment is less than 5 years old and is very well maintained. Our Drivers are assigned to their own trucks, no slip-seating or team driving required.

Experience:

Applicant must have a minimum of 2 years CDL driving experience and able to pass road test.

Schedule:

Dedicated line haul lane between our two terminals from Dalton, Georgia to Stevensville, Maryland, 1340 miles round trip. You only have to complete two trips weekly to maintain full-time status. GUARANTEED 2680 miles per week on this lane with the opportunity to run more if you would like. If you drive more than 3000 miles, you will be paid overtime mileage.

Pay:

Starts at 55 cents per mile, pay rate depends on experience. Additional bonuses offered for picking up backhaul or making a delivery enroute. All miles after 3,000 are paid at 75 cents per mile

Driver Team Leader (Class A or B)

Burlington, NJ

We are expanding our footprint in the Northeast by opening our brand-new distribution terminal in Burlington, NJ. Opening day is Monday, June 5th and we are looking to IMMEDIATELY hire a CDL Driver to lead and develop our new team of drivers at this location. This is the perfect opportunity for a CDL Driver who is hungry for more and ready to take the next big step in their career. This position is a training position on the path to becoming our next terminal manager.

The Driver Team Leader is responsible for inspiring and leading a team of Professional Drivers, coordinating with warehouse staff, and communicating daily with CCL headquarters in Stevensville, MD. Key Responsibilities:
  1. Leading: Provide inspiration, leadership, and direction to a team of professional drivers to ensure they are motivated, engaged, and productive. Leading by example to uphold performance expectations and maintain a safe and positive work environment.
  2. Communicating: Responsible for daily communication with their driving team, the NJ Warehouse Team and the CCL Headquarters in Stevensville, MD.
  3. Driving, Delivery Route: Completing a daily delivery route while safely operating a CMV and exercising time management. Provide excellent customer service, including professional and courteous interactions with customers, accurate delivery of goods, and resolution of customer issues or complaints.
  4. Supervising: Understanding company policies and Federal regulations, providing guidance and ongoing coaching to the Drive Team to improve performance and ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
  5. Equipment Management: Verify that drivers perform pre and post trip inspections, and that Failures are promptly reported to the fleet manager via DVIR (Samsara). Ensuring that trucks are organized and tidy, and compliant.
Requirements:
  • Must be 23 years or older (This is required by our insurance carrier.)
  • Hold a valid CDL (Class A or B), and be able to pass a road test.
  • Have a minimum of 5 years of commercial driving experience.
  • Hold a clean driving record- zero moving violations on 3-year MVR.
  • Experienced with and physically able to operate hand trucks, manual pallet jacks, and forklifts.
  • Able to safely lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Hold a minimum of a 1-year medical certificate.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and resolve issues effectively.
  • Proven leadership experience, preferably in a team leader or supervisor role.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient computer skills, ability to learn software, and communicate via email.
  • Strong problem-solving skills. Able to identify problems and create and implement solutions independently. Ability to make decisions quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations related to commercial driving, including Hours of Service (HOS) regulations, General DOT regulations, and DOT vehicle maintenance standards.
